  Finding strings in returns

Sometimes the number of returns can be very large, say several hundred when combing through a large numbers of texts. It such situations, it makes sense to search through the returns themselves, particularly if you have used an input list for a search and wish to see what finds were made for a specific member of this list. The option Find in returns on the Quick search level or Get string in returns on the Advanced search level will allow you to comb through the returns for some string you specify. You can have Corpus Presenter stop at each find, or carry out the search automatically. Furthermore, you can have the finds deposited in the Windows clipboard and then paste them into some other software, such as the internal jotter or your own word processor.
